Two Tips for a Better Bike

Filed under: Bikes and Tours, Helpful Stuff, Recreation Infos — admin @ 2:28 am

Motorcycles have all kinds of parts and gadgets. They all work together to give you something great to ride on. We are going to discuss two areas of a bike that are important and if taken care of properly can last a long time.

The first thing we are going to discuss is the tube that goes inside the bike tire. Each tire has a tube and there is a space between the tube and the tire. If the tube sticks to the tire the tire can not last as long and not perform as best as it could. The heat can cause this scenario. We can’t stop the heat, but we can add something to the mix when putting the tube in. This something is baby powder. It cuts back on the sticking of the tube to the tire and lessens the chaffing that can go on.

The second thing is chain lube. The chain is the lifeline of the bike, it moves the wheel from the motor. Riding close to the road and on dirt or gravel things can get into the chain and damage it. Chain lube is designed to resist and repel dirt, grit, water, and other things that can damage it. It keeps the chain real clean and lets it function at its best.

Riding is fun and your legs can get antsy if you sit in the same position for too long. Ride your motorcycle for a certain period of time, then get off and exercise your legs, take the acceletrim product and walk around. It will make riding more fun if you split it up like this. And with these two tips from above you will be able to spend more time riding and less time working on your bike.
